Jeffrey Mathew Scott

Department: Woodside

Deceased: December 04, 2007

Jeffrey Mathew Scott After working as a "Hot Shot" in Lassen County, Jeffrey Scott knew he wanted to make fire fighting his career.  He was a dedicated fireman for 29 years, working his way up the ranks to Captain.  Jeff was a loving son, brother, husband, and good friend to all of those who knew him.  He illuminated rooms with his brilliant smile and contagious laugh.  A conscientious hunter, fisherman, and all-around outdoorsman, he truly had an affinity for nature.  He also enjoyed photography and took pictures wherever he went.  Jeff traveled often with his wife, Sandy, and made many trips to Europe and Hawaii.  He touched so many lives while he was in the fire service; he was often considered family to his friends.
