While serving as a paramedic for the Los Angeles City Fire Department, Eric Reiner, alongside Michael Butler and Michael McComb, passed away when their helicopter crashed in Los Angeles.  The three men gave their lives for the most noble cause - the protection and the safety of others.  Eric was known for being an inspiration to all who knew him; his strength could always be relied upon.  He was a dedicated husband and father, as well as serviceman to the Los Angeles City Fire Department.  He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and their four children.
