Kevin began his career with the Pasadena Fire Department on November 5, 1979. Following his father, Kevin's love of the job inspired two of his younger brothers to join the fire service almost a decade later. Affectionately known as "The Viking" by his brothers at the station, he quickly rose to the position of Fire Engineer and served there for 25 years. Kevin was an avid and skilled "on and off road" motorcycle rider, On May 31, 2011, Brother Moore died of a heart attack shortly after finishing a 24-hour shift.
