Known as an extremely driven person, Brett Laws could always be counted on to jump right into any situation.  He, alongside firefighter Bryan Golden, were unable to escape from a burning house when they were attempting to look for the elderly homeowner.  Brett was often described as a cheerful person with an aura that attracted all those around him.  He was recognized as an avid hunter, sportsman, and an overall friend to all. A true "firefighter's firefighter," Brett will truly be missed.
