Peter Alan Hein was passionate about his career in the fire service.  His career began when he joined the California Conservation Corps and Peter served in the fire service for over 30 years.  Outside of his work he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the great outdoors. Peter succumbed to injuries from a fire-related incident at the Stagecoach Fire near Lake Isabela in August 2020.
