Gary Hart served the citizens of Ventura County with honor and distinction for 33 years.  Gary loved working for the fire service and was passionate about working as an Operations Chief on a federal incident management team.  He aspired to become a firefighter when he was a young boy.  When he was not working, he enjoyed worldwide travel with family.  In February last year, Gary passed away from job-related cancer.
