Firefighter Sean Gillion proudly served the citizens of Alameda with honor and distinction for 26 years. Sean loved the fire service and was remarkable at supporting his fellow firefighters. He enjoyed getting involved with his union, the Alameda Firefighters Association, Local 689, and spearheaded several events the union hosted annually. Throughout the Alameda Fire Department, he was known for his optimistic personality and for having the ability to turn a negative into a positive in the toughest of times. Sean is survived by his wife, Michelle, and his two daughters, Amanda and Katie.
