James Como served the citizens of Los Angeles with honor and distinction.  He was passionate about his career in the fire service and embodied the finest qualities of a true firefighter.  James was an avid music lover and sports enthusiast.  His newest love was surfing.  He passed away from job-related illness in November, 2019.
