California Fire Foundation LA Wildfire Relief Efforts and FAQs
1. Is CFF sending aid to the LA County Wildfires?
Yes! California Fire Foundation is providing cash aid to victims of the Palisades, Eaton, and other Los Angeles County wildfires in the form of $250 SAVE (Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency) cards. These cards equip residents who have lost their primary residence to purchase groceries, prescriptions, clothing, or other necessities as many lost their homes.
California Fire Foundation will be distributing SAVE (Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency) cards at:
Victory Park Recreation Center, 2575 Paloma St, Pasadena, CA 91107
Thursday, January 16th - Saturday, January 18th
9am-5pm
Residents seeking a SAVE Card, please have the following documentation ready before you arrive:
Required Documentation:
A picture ID with a matching address
If the address on the ID is not their current address must provide:
- Piece of mail (utility bills, bank statements, credit card statements, lease agreement, or other government issued document) or a picture of mail that shows their name and current address
IMPORTANT
Non-residential properties (i.e. businesses) are not eligible for a SAVE Card;
Only 1 SAVE card shall be distributed per occupancy, regardless of whether intended recipient is an individual or a family; and
Only 1 SAVE card shall be distributed per unit/residence in the case of a multi-family occupancy (e.g. apartment, duplex)
2. Can I donate clothing, supplies or other goods to victims or firefighters?
California Fire Foundation is not able to accept physical items for donation. However, please check these websites for potentital donation opportunties:

3. How can I help people who lost their homes?
Right now, the most effective way to help is through a monetary contribution. We are also working with local fire agencies and community-based organizations throughout Los Angeles County to serve those in need.
4. How is the California Fire Foundation helping firefighters?
California Fire Foundation provides financial support to firefighters who are injured in the line of duty or who lose their homes during wildfires. Our team is in communication with firefighting agencies on the ground to support firefighter families who lost their own homes in the wildfires. If you are or know a firefighter who lost their home, please email benevolent@cpf.org.
