California Fire Foundation LA Wildfire Relief Efforts and FAQs

1. Is CFF sending aid to the LA County Wildfires?

In January, the California Fire Foundation distributed 7,260 SAVE (Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency) Cards, valued at $250 each, totaling $1,815,000 and serving more than 30,000 individuals. We have concluded the SAVE Card distribution in the LA County area. We are now shifting our focus to ensuring that we can contribute meaningfully to the long-term relief and recovery efforts in the region. Our commitment to supporting those affected by the fires remains steadfast, and we extend our deepest sympathies to those affected.

2. Can I donate clothing, supplies or other goods to victims or firefighters?

3. How can I help people who lost their homes?

Right now, the most effective way to help is through a monetary contribution. We are also working with local fire agencies and community-based organizations  throughout Los Angeles County to serve those in need.

4. How is the California Fire Foundation helping firefighters?

California Fire Foundation provides financial support to firefighters who are injured in the line of duty or who lose their homes during wildfires. Our team is in communication with firefighting agencies on the ground to support firefighter families who lost their own homes in the wildfires. If you are or know a firefighter who lost their home, please email benevolent@cpf.org.

5. How can I donate to relief efforts?
